Hello, my name is Janice Mills. I grew up in Farmington, Iowa and graduated from Harmony High School. I attended college at Northeast Missouri State University, and then later, after my three children started to school, I finished my teaching degree at Iowa Wesleyan College in Mt. Pleasant. I also worked part time for the AEA while I was finishing my education. I have been an elementary teacher for twelve years, and eleven
of those years I have taught at Cardinal Elementary. I started out teaching kindergarten, then taught 5th grade for a year. I then moved to 4th grade for several years, then 3rd grade for two years, and I am now teaching 4th grade again. Over the years, I have really enjoyed working with Cardinal students, and staff members at every grade level.
I am the proud mother of three grown children. My son Brock is an engineering student at ISU. My daughter Anna is a nursing student. She and her husband Zach live in Davenport. They have two young sons, Jack and Collin. Faith, my youngest, is also a nursing student, at Kirkwood in Iowa City. When not working, I enjoy gardening, reading, and most of all spending time with my family. Although most of the time, its just me, and my little schnauzer Henry, at home in the country, in rural Van Buren county. I am available for calls at ext. 4260 on M,T,W,F - 2:00 - 2:30; W/Th 9-9:30.
