I graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1980. I spent the next few years at Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville, Missouri. There I received a degree in Biology. I then received my teaching endorsement from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa.
I have 26 years of teaching experience of which 22 were spent at Moravia Community Schools in Moravia, Iowa. The last 4 years I have spent here at Cardinal High.
I have been married to my wife Karen for 12 years and have a son, Christopher, who is a 5 grader here at Cardinal. I have a 27 year old daughter, Chelsea, who resides in Ottumwa.
We live north of Ottumwa in the hose I spent my college years living in with my parents.
I love to coach athletics and in my spare time I love to fish and hunt. I am an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan and a St. Louis cardinal fan also.
My summers are spent helping my father on our family farm and spending time with my son.
I look forward to spending many years at Cardinal, come by my room sometime and see some of my interesting specimens and other materials.
I am available for calls at ext. 4249 from 1:00-1:45.Back: Staff Directory
