National Honor Society is a nationally recognized student leadership and service organization. It's built upon four pillars: Scholarship, Leadership, Character, and Service.

Students in grades 10–12 who meet the requirements for membership outlined by their school’s chapter are eligible to be invited for membership. Each chapter is required to publish its qualifications for membership, which is based on the four pillars of NHS.

To obtain service points here is a guide to understand how those are calculated.

The following is the maximum amount of points that can be earned. Fewer points can be given at the discretion of the sponsor/coach. A total of 24 points and a minimum of a 3.5 GPA are needed for nomination.

My real endorsement of Cardinal Schools and its faculty and staff can be seen each morning when I hand them the one irreplaceable and most valuable thing in my life: my kids. No letter I write could be a greater endorsement than that simple act. I give them my kids, and I do it with a huge smile on my face because I trust them to do what they are most outstanding at: building our future.
