posted May 15, 2024

Our 2024 staff survey results are in and we're pleased to report that we are once again seeing year-over-year improvement with an 84% overall workplace experience score, up from 82% last year and 80% the year prior.

The annual survey measures how our employees feel about workplace values, employee appreciation and development, productivity and retention, leadership, and other engagement indicators.

A word cloud of terms found in Cardinal CSD's 2024 staff survey, including positive, caring, encouraging, helpful, and growing.

This year's survey results indicate that our strengths include:

"The energy within the staff continues to positively grow and impact others," said one survey respondent about how the district motivates them. "This energy is contagious!"

We love celebrating our wins each year, but the survey is primarily given to staff to find areas of improvement. This year we had a few areas identified as needing attention, including:

We will spend this year making efforts to improve in these areas and hope our results next year show progress! It's vital that all members of our staff feel included and part of the work we're doing to make a difference in our students' lives.

Thank you to all of our staff members who participated in this year's survey! We look forward to using your feedback to continue growing our strengths and improving our focus areas for you and our students.

From our first interaction with the staff at Cardinal schools, we felt at home. The entire staff is amazing and we feel that we have a trusted partner in our children’s education. The greatest testament to their success is that our kids love going to school. There is nothing more welcoming as a parent than to have a school that you trust to take care of the most precious thing in your life. Cardinal School District does just that.
