Attendance Up Since 4-Day School Week Implemented

We're excited to share that since the implementation of the four-day school week, Cardinal CSD has seen the following benefits:

Attendance is up
Academic achievement is up
Special education students continue to meet goals and exit IEPs
Quality PD with ongoing support for teachers
Teacher retention is up
Open Enrollment into the district remains strong
Open Enrollment out of the district is down
Higher rate of quality applicants
More family time for employees
University of Iowa study shows that we have 75% community support

4-Day School Week Improvements

From our first interaction with the staff at Cardinal schools, we felt at home. The entire staff is amazing and we feel that we have a trusted partner in our children’s education. The greatest testament to their success is that our kids love going to school. There is nothing more welcoming as a parent than to have a school that you trust to take care of the most precious thing in your life. Cardinal School District does just that.
