Emergency drill in progress

posted September 14, 2022

Please be aware that today, September 14, 2022, Cardinal Community School District will be partnering with area first responders for a training exercise on how to respond to a car crash. The Aftermath Distracted/Impaired Driving: Know the Consequences drill will also bring awareness to high school students on the potentially fatal consequences of driving while distracted.

The training exercise will involve area first responders being on campus for a couple of hours along with a mock car accident scene and demonstration drill. Please remember that this is a training exercise, not an actual emergency.

From our first interaction with the staff at Cardinal schools, we felt at home. The entire staff is amazing and we feel that we have a trusted partner in our children’s education. The greatest testament to their success is that our kids love going to school. There is nothing more welcoming as a parent than to have a school that you trust to take care of the most precious thing in your life. Cardinal School District does just that.
