Earlier this month, Cardinal Community School District hosted its first career fair in five years.

Get Your Head in the Game with Esports
New to Cardinal High School this year is an esports program! Students in 9th through 12th grade with an interest in video games are encouraged to join. Cardinal's esports team will compete against other districts just like our other sports teams. |
Cardinal CSD National Honor Society Opens Community Food Pantry
Did you know that Cardinal Community School District is home to a food pantry? The Cardinal Community Food Pantry is a free service for the community, open to students and families.
The food pantry, in partnership with the Food Bank of Iowa is run by the National Honor Society (NHS) team. NHS started the project last year and officially got it up and running this fall. |
The Cardinal Community School developed an emergency hard surface route plan. The purpose of this plan is to provide a bus transportation system on days when it is not possible to run the buses on gravel roads. In situations such as drifted or icy country gravel roads, or soft surface gravel roads, this plan will be implemented. |
The 2022 Iowa School Performance Profiles are out, and we're pleased to say that Cardinal Community School District's scores have improved for all three buildings since 2021. |
