Daycare
Admission
The before and after school program at Cardinal is available to all registered elementary students. Before school program hours are 6 a.m. to 7:50 a.m. After school program hours are 3:45 – 5:30 p.m.
Fees
The current cost of daycare is $3 per hour per child. A late fee will be assessed for $5 per child for each 15 minute period they are in the program after 5:30 p.m.
School Closing
If school is delayed because of weather, morning daycare will be offered unless noted otherwise on the call em all phone call. If the school closes for inclement weather the before and after school program will also close. Any time there is not school due to inclement weather or a holiday, before and after school daycare will not be available. On days that school is dismissed early because of a holiday, parent teacher conferences or PLC early dismissals, after school daycare will not be offered.
If you need to call the daycare room before or after school please call the school at: 641-652-3591, extension 3253. Please do not call the extension during the school day, as there is a preschool class in that room. If you need to contact the school from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. please call 641-652-7531, extension 3213 and we will get a message to the daycare.
We reserve the right to dismiss students from the program for overdue account balances and/or inability to follow program rules.
